EM Table – 1950 by Jean Prouve

Jean Prouve developed the EM Table for the Maison Tropique, a project for prefabricated housing and was a variation of an earlier design.

The black painted sheet metal legs are by far the feature, tapered, turned out angled, with a traverse brace in metal tubing define the downward flow of energy and create an extremely stable table.

The top is made of veneered timber. Ideal as a dining table or work desk.

This table works well with Jean Prouve’s standard chair.
