Bathroom

Bathroom Makeover Color Ideas

Bathroom Scheme – Bright and Bold

Original Scheme

A simple scheme that is currently pleasant, light and functional. It could with some imagination be revived without having to make any changes to the fittings and fixtures. An all over new paint color for the walls, something with a lot of contrast, depth and warmth as the room is on the cold side of the house, but has good natural light. These ideas are pretty radical, but it is great to play around with color, especially in a small space.

Option One

The use of citrus green on the walls creates a refreshing crisp bathroom. It contrasts well with the existing white fixtures and black tiling around the bath. There is a definite shock factor on first glance but the color is enlivening once entering the space. The addition of some white towels with a citrus green trim would complete the look.

Option One for color choices - Lime Green.

Option Two

Invigorating orange, the ideal refresher color, creates the perfect place for laying in the bath and contemplating life. The contrast and the depth of the color combine well with the existing black and white fixtures and tiles. The warmth and depth of the color provide the feeling of heat required for the cooler side of the house.

Option Two for color choices - orange!

Option Three

Aqua is bright and cool, calming but maybe a little chilly for this side of the house, a great Art Deco color, and a wonderful peaceful space it creates. Once again a solid contrast with the existing black tiles and white fixtures. To create an art deco theme, stenciling motifs of the era around the mirror and the bath could provide the finishing touches.

or choices - Aqua.
