Q. I have just build a new home and our window casings and window/door trim is an ivory color. I am in need of ordering blinds and don't know if I should pick the same color as the trim or go with the wood color that is in the rest of our home i.e.) hardwood floor - red mahogany color. Please advise as to what would look best. We have large windows . Thanks. Kim, Canada
A. Large windows in wood will make the room look smaller and the blinds will look heavy, the same color as your trim will make it appear larger and lighter.
