Can you believe it is Christmas is just around the corner? There is still too much to organise for the big day, so we will try to keep this newsletter short.

I have found a great ebook on the internet which helps you decide what changes you need to make in your life and helps you put them in place, in simple steps. No, it is not another self help book! A few tips for the big day to promote Christmas cheer

• Don't forget about your animals, it is a big day for them too, your dog still needs a walk, the cat needs cuddles, especially if you are out all day attending feative family functions.
• If you are hosting the Christmas Dinner, keep the decorations for the table simple so you have room for your food and you can still see everyone around the table. Place your wonderful decorations on the chair backs, walls or buffet tables instead.
• Remember not to drink and drive, we want to make sure everyone enjoys this holiday season and the next one. So decide before you go out who will be the designated driver or take a cab and enjoy the festivities.
  Always have a few spare gifts under the tree, chocolates or wine are a good choice, for those unexpected friends that call on you. You don't want them to leave empty handed.
• Christmas Day is a day for music, so turn off the TV and dare I say it the computer, and put on some Christmas carols, it gets everyone in the mood.
• Send a card or flowers if you can't be with someone for christmas, it is always feels great to be remembered.
• If you know someone who will be alone at Christmas, invite them to join you, what is one more mouth to feed? They will really appreciate it and you have a fresh face at the family table.
• Do something for others that makes you and them feel good, mow their lawns, trim their hedge, shovel their snow, water their garden, anything! (You could keep this one up during the year, it doesn't take much time to help someone in need).
• Even though your day may be busy, take time to sit back and look at your friends and family. Christmas is a great time to be together so savour the taste.
