Simple Apartment Makeover Continued
Original Stair
Very dimly lit and functional with no design flair at all.
New Stairwell
New enclosed wall uplights add drama to the space, reflecting light off the brilliant red wall onto the crisp blue tinted white wall opposite.
It now feels warm and has a sense of movement.
The toilet at the end of the stairwell is painted to match the new bathroom.
Original Bedroom
This room required new window treatments and a colour injection!
New Bedroom
Lemon with a crisp white swirl fabric dresses the windows contrasting well with the sapphire blue walls and white with blue stripped bedspread. A jointly refreshing and relaxing atmosphere created.

Original Bedroom
Badly laid out, the wardrobe taking up valuable width to the room, it currently cannot fit a double bed.
The angled wall to the left also closes up the room when furniture is placed against it. |

New Bedroom
The wardrobe is repositioned, the angled wall is straightened and we can now fit a double bed and matching furniture to the side.
The aqua to the walls, and the lemon to the windows make the room unrecognizable, and a much more serene place to sleep. |
New Bedroom
This is where the wardrobe once stood, now furniture can be placed there and a double bed fits across the width of the room.

To conclude, this apartment was structurally sound with only minor planning faults in the bedroom spaces, these were overcome with some relocating a few walls and wardrobes.
The lighting in specific areas, especially the hallways and bathroom lift the level of perceived expense to the spaces.
Clever choice of wall colours, bold and daring at times give the apartment more drama and a personality of it's own.
Overall a project well done and with a few more pieces of art work, floral arrangements and knick knacks, the entire project will be completed, and a success.
