Basic Ideas for Your Romantic Bedroom Part 2
Get Personal
Have things in the room that make you feel at ease, that could be your teddy bear from when you were a child or a picture of a special place, person or pet. Some other ideas are perfume bottle collections, match box car collections, books, magazines. Something that makes you both relaxed.
The Design Element
Of course there is always the design element of the bedroom, the placement of furniture, the selection of window treatments, the wall and floor finishes.
The flooring should be warm underfoot, you an achieve this with wall to wall carpet or a loose laid rug.
The drapery should be soft and flowing, to emulate a relaxed feeling.
The walls can be anything, but make sure they don't overpower the space. A bedroom is often a small room, so light and airy works well, pale blues, soft peach, and buttery yellows. That is unless you want to go full on high time red romance, this is great for enticing romance but not relaxing for the mind!
